      Slowest Fifty In T20 World Cup

      Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan created the unwanted record of the slowest fifty in the T20 World Cup when he scored a 52-ball fifty against Canada in New York in 2024, helping his side to chase 107 runs by seven wickets.

      Proteas hard-hitter David Miller has the 2nd slowest fifty in the T20 World Cup to his name. In a group match against Bangladesh in the 2024 edition, he hit a fighting fifty in as many balls to rescue his team from 12/4 and helped them to post 113 runs on board in New York.

      Former Caribbean opener Devon Smith took 49 balls to complete his fifty in a group stage match against Bangaldesh in 2007 in Johannesburg, the 3rd slowest fifty in the T20 World Cup.
