Stuart Broad is one of the finest pace bowlers of all time and was highly successful in test cricket during his playing days. At the beginning of his career, the 6 ft 6-inch seamer represented England in all three formats and his stats are quite impressive. In 167 tests, he bagged 604 wickets, the 2nd most by any pacer in tests. While in ODIs, he claimed 178 scalps in 121 outings. Despite not having so many variations, Broad was able to take 65 wickets in 56 games in T20Is. He was also a part of the England team which lifted the T20 World Cup in 2010.

If we talk about the appearance of Stuart Broad in the Indian Premier League, Broad never played in the IPL. Nevertheless, he was bought by King Xi Punjab for INR 1.84 cr in the 2011 IPL auction but due to an unavoidable injury, he was ruled out for the entire season. Afterwards, Braod never featured in IPL again.

Broad bid adieu to international cricket after the end of the 2023 Ashes summer with over 800 wickets in his name.
