Venkatesh Iyer IPL 2024 Runs

A decent all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh who can play at opening to no 5 and bowl good overs in the middle, Venkatesh Iyer represented Kolkata Knight Riders in their successful IPL campaign in 2024 and scored 370 runs in 15 matches at a staggering strike rate of 158.79. The Southpaw with hitting ability smashed four fifties and 70 against Mumbai Indians in the match 51 was his highest score of the season.

Venkatesh was outstanding in both knockout games for KKR. First, in qualifier 1, he scored a fluent 51 off 28 balls to help KKR win the game by eight wickets, and then in the finals where KKR bowlers ripped through and bundled SRH for a paltry 113, Iyer batted fearlessly with aggression in the mix and hit a quick 52 off 26 balls, helping his team to chase the score in 10.3 overs.
