Gujarat Titans Retained Players For 2025 IPL

The second team to clinch the IPL trophy in its maiden participation, Gujarat Titans released their retained players list for the IPL 2025 ahead of the mega auction on the last day of the declaration, 31st October. The Gujarat-based franchise has retained five players in total and Afghan leggie Rashid Khan is their top retention for a staggering INR 18 cr. They have also put their faith in Shubman Gill for a handsome salary of INR 16.5 cr who will possibly be their captain as well in the forthcoming edition.

Apart from them, batting sensation Sai Sudarshan who ended up as GT’s highest run-getter in the previous season with 527 runs in 12 innings has extended his stay in Gujarat for a good sum of INR 8.5 cr. Their two uncapped retentions have been Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan, earning a salary of INR 4 cr respectively.

Mohammed Shami who was outstanding for them in the 2022 and 2023 installments could not convince them despite taking 48 wickets in 33 games, playing a key role in taking the team to the finals both times and winning it in 2022. The same thing goes for David Miller, he has performed decently and done his job of finishing games for the Titans in the last three seasons.

As the Titans have already spent 51 cr to stabilize their core group, they will have INR 69 cr to make their team and one RTM card which they can use on a capped player during the mega auction.
