Representing a country and taking wickets in this tournament is a proud feeling for a bowler and being the spearhead of the team by getting regular wickets puts his team in a commendable position. In this article. we will contemplate the bowlers with the most wickets in a single T20 World Cup.
Lankan leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga holds the record for taking the most wickets in a single T20 World Cup. Having played 8 games in the 2021 T20 World Cup in the UAE, he bagged 16 wickets at a meager economy rate of 5.2. Despite his great bowling display, Sri Lanka could not capitalize on it and failed to qualify for the semis.
