Amit Mishra On Star Indian Batsman Virat Kohli

Haryana leg spinner Amit Mishra who represented India in 68 matches across all formats has made some shocking remarks on star Indian batsman Virat Kohli on a recent podcast with journalist and Youtuber Shubhankar Mishra. He said after getting the captaincy and fame Virat Kohli’s attitude changed abundantly which left him with a few friends in the India team whereas for Rohit Sharma it is completely different, he is as friendly and down to earth as he was in his early days.

The 41-year-old leg spinner played under two captains MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in his prime. He was on the team with Virat Kohli at the helm from 2015 to 2017 but never became a regular member of the setup with Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja being the front-running spinners. Upon asking why he was not being picked for the playing xi, skipper Virat Kohli did not give a clear answer and said he would let him know after asking the management but he never did. On the contrary, MS Dhoni gave him a distinct picture of his position in the team and said that he did not fit into the team combination.

Mishra’s fierce comment on Kohli has sparked a controversy and the fans are lashing at him on social media. According to them, Mishra is just venting his anger and frustrations over not being included in the team as the first choice bowler and it stayed in his heart for a longtime.
